Experience the infamous climbs of the Alpes as we travel to Switzerland, Italy, and France to ride the cols (passes) and see the world’s most famous race.
We will enjoy climbing and watching the competitors on the first mountain top finish in the alpes surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of a Swiss ski village.
We will tackle the climb from Switzerland into Italy and enjoy the culture, food, and people of both countries in a single day. As we ride during the rest day of the Tour, we may ourselves ride with a team of the pros - out training on the very same roads!
Our trip continues to France as we ride and watch the race tackle the col du Colombiere. We’ll enjoy the fabulous culture, views and food of the French Alpes beneath the towering Mt. Blanc.
From the alpes we head to the famous Mt. Ventoux. We will ride this famous climb the day before the Tour to imagine what it will be like for the racers on the (day before Paris) penultimate stage after 3 weeks of racing. As we watch the climb on race day with thousands of other fans, we are likely to see the decisive day for the yellow jersey.
